Sometimes, giving entitled people exactly what they want can actually benefit you a lot more than you can imagine. 

The very definition of an entitled person is someone who thinks they deserve or are privileged to special treatment. They fully believe they are owed certain things and are not afriad to demand them. 

Naturally, the way one deals with entitled people can go two ways – you either refuse to give in to their entitlement, and fight for what you think is right, or you let them have what they want, either because you don't have the energy to argue, or because you believe karma will eventually teach them a lesson for you.

When it comes to entitled neighbors, many people choose the latter option, just so they can keep the peace. Since their involvement with their entitled neighbor is ongoing, and is not a one-time thing, giving them what they want might just be the easier option, which is what guided the neighbors in the story below to take the actions that they did.
